Larry Flieler, EAA 1216036, is an avid photographer from Ashburn, Ontario, and came to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh last summer for the first time in quite a while. As you’d expect, he took a lot of photos and we’re very grateful to him for agreeing to share some of them with us. Our thanks also go to the Tiger Boys in Guelph, Ontario, for getting us connected with Larry.
Here’s a personal note from him:
Aviation photography is my greatest passion. In 2016, I returned to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh for the first time in many years. There is no better venue in the world for taking aviation photos than EAA AirVenture. Every conceivable type of aircraft is there. It is the mecca, paradise, sanctuary, and candy store for aviators and aviation enthusiasts alike. I will return to EAA AirVenture every year from now on. The Spirit of Aviation lives there!
