Dear Robin,

We’re so grateful for your help in making the Sunday Morning Breakfast Club’s Christmas banquet on December 8, 2019, a wonderful event.

Thanks to you, we had another Vision of Eagles jacket as a silent auction item. With some additional raffle items and silent auction items, the SMBC raised a total of $825 to donate to the EAA Aviation Foundation. Our check is enclosed. Please note: On the memo line, we have indicated that the money is to be used for the Young Eagles program.

Charlie from Morris, Illinois, was the lucky recipient of the jacket. Charlie is a member of EAA Chapter 95 and has been a Young Eagles pilot, so he really appreciates the Vision of Eagles jacket.

Robin, once again, you helped to make this possible! This was the 13th jacket we were able to have for our raffle. We asked the previous recipients of the Vision of Eagles jacket to bring their jackets for a group picture. A picture of nine members and their jackets is enclosed (one forgot, one now lives in Kentucky and wasn’t at the banquet, and one is deceased). We’re hoping that you’ll have another Vision of Eagles jacket for us to raffle at the 2020 banquet on December 6.

We’ll see you at AirVenture 2020 — once again, we’ll be volunteering at the Blue Barn. We’d also like to volunteer for you at the PHP, like we did during AirVenture 2019, or in any area that might help you the most. Please let us know when you set up the schedule.

Sincerely,

Steve and Carol MacCabe
