Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen, EAA 820282, spends his money on some really cool stuff, like science, shipwrecks, space travel, sports franchises, rare guitars, and movie props. Luckily for us, he also collects airplanes, and they’ve been on display — on the ground and in the air — for more than a dozen years as part of his Flying Heritage Collection, which has now expanded to become the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum. Learn more about the museum’s airplanes and some of the pilots who fly them in the March 2018 issue of EAA Sport Aviation magazine.
