Bob Caron, a former U.S. Army aviator who flew for the CIA’s covert airline, Air America, spoke at the EAA Aviation Museum on March 15 as part of our Aviation Adventure Speaker Series. Bob held the audience spellbound as he told stories of his service in Vietnam, especially as the pilot of the helicopter photographed evacuating U.S. citizens during the fall of Saigon — one of the most iconic images captured during the war.
