Van’s RVs and similar homebuilt aircraft are largely constructed by working with sheet metal, but there’s more involved in the completion of these airplanes, including fiberglass work. Attendees at a recent EAA SportAir Workshop for Van’s RV Fiberglass Techniques learned how to solve some of their homebuilding difficulties when working with fiberglass material.
The two-day course has upcoming sessions in Oshkosh on June 6-7, September 22-23, and December 8-9, 2018. An additional upcoming session will take place in Peachtree, Georgia, at the East Coast location of Aircraft Spruce & Specialty during its customer appreciation weekend on May 19-20.
