EAA’s Attic – TWA Boeing 707 Cutaway Model

It’s easy these days to take for granted that most people are fairly comfortable with hopping into a jet airliner and flying to wherever they need to go. Back in the late 1950s, when the Boeing 707 was introduced, the concept was far from established as the norm. Models like this one, a 1/24-scale TWA 707, were made for travel agencies to promote the idea of jet-age airline travel.
