There’s a lot of talk about — and a lot of money being spent on — what’s being called urban air mobility these days. Definitions vary, but it generally involves the use of manned, eVTOL multicopters, either piloted or autonomous, for recreation or short-haul transportation. Several companies are working on prototypes, and we talked to two of them, Airbus and Opener, when they came to Oshkosh for AirVenture last summer.
