Captain Eddie’s Fairey Firefly

Eddie Kurdziel, EAA 431776, brought his rare Fairey Firefly AS6 to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2019, and won Reserve Grand Champion: Post World War II. The Firefly was introduced in 1943, and operated by the British Royal Navy as a fighter and anti-submarine aircraft, and was also used in a ground-attack role during the Korean War.
