Milestone: Noah Forcier

Milestone: Noah Forcier

Noah Forcier, EAA 1309864, a 17-year-old from Madison, Wisconsin, has had quite the year so far. On March 6, he earned his private pilot certificate, and on May 14 he graduated from Edgewood High School.

Noah has big goals ahead of him. Next year he plans to attend the University of Dubuque for aviation flight operations, while working on earning additional ratings. Noah ultimately dreams of becoming an airline pilot.

If it weren’t for EAA and the Young Eagles program, Noah said he may not have pursued aviation. When he was eight years old, he took his first airplane ride as a Young Eagle. Since then, he became more and more involved with his EAA chapter, 93, and was awarded the Ray Aviation Scholarship.

“I didn’t think it would really be possible until I got to college or beyond that even,” Noah said. “There was just a lot of people helping me and it was really just amazing. EAA has been so helpful, and all the people involved in my chapter have been mentors and have helped me just learn, and they’ve helped me when I didn’t really know what I was doing. Everyone’s just been amazing.”

Have you reached a milestone recently? Passed a checkride, given your first or hundredth Young Eagles flight, flown your homebuilt for the first time? Tell us about it at EAA.org/submissions.
