In recent milestones, the chapter celebrates the accomplishments of two new private pilots. Nick Peterson, who completed his private pilot training on August 3, 2024, accumulated 44.8 hours of flight time to achieve his certificate. Jenesis Quiads Manuel (JQ), from northern Illinois, obtained his private pilot certificate on June 15, 2024, and is now advancing his aviation education at Parkland College’s Institute of Aviation in Champaign, Illinois.
