Sometimes craftsmanship is in the genes. In Sean Walker’s case that may be a factor in his clearly demonstrated skills. Sean’s dad, Colin, was a craftsman of some renown here on the West Coast. His Emeraude, built in the early ‘80s, is still around 40 years later and regularly maintained and flown by Sean.
Sean’s project, a Sportsman 2+2, is powered by a 6-cylinder, 220-hp ULPower turbocharged engine. It had recently migrated from his home shop to the hangar and then just this past week to the paint shop for prime and paint. The finished paint job will be white with two trim colours.
